The story began on one canvas but grew to fill a second. Sometimes, when you feel a bit different from the crowd, comfort is best found in the company of your pets or your own weird creatures. In this piece, a tired woman rests under a tree of her thoughts. Her fears are hidden inside the tree trunk. A menagerie of creatures surrounds her and the tree. A penguin gently pats her on the back while a mouse rabbit creature snuggles in closely. A kindly snake crawls around her thoughts carrying with it a depressed dog, a weird bunny, and an anxious overthinking fox. An idea in the form of a small bird rides upon the snake’s head. The sun shines brightly on the whole scene, representing hope and happiness.
